Small Hydro - Northpower
Automation and commissioning of Wairua Falls power station. This consisted of three 1.2 MW Francis turbines and two smaller turbines. The scope involved developing the conceptual basis of the control scheme, coordinating the selection of hardware and reviewing and commissioning the software, preparing tenders for electrical equipment and installation. During construction overall site supervision and commissioning of the 33 kV yard, 5.5 kV switchgear and SCADA system was provided.
Cogeneration plant- Fonterra
Along with the installation of the 110kV yard mentioned elsewhere this project included the installation of the four 10MVA Mars Turbines and one 28MVA Steam Turbine. The site had to have the ability to island with almost full load rejection and still maintain site power and not disrupt steam flow.
Cogeneration plant- Santos
Supply of protection and control of the all site generation was upgraded including;
- Two 5MVA Steam Turbines
- Two 2.5MVA Steam Turbines
- One 5MVA Generator
- One 2.5MVA Generator
Rotary Converters - RNZN
